David Shove insults the people of Omaha: [shopping at Wal-Mart is]
"Almost as much fun as a week in Omaha!"

Vicky says: If it's good enough for Warren Buffett, it's good enough
for me!

The Omaha folks must be less needy than Minneapolis folks. The two
cities have nearly identical populations, but Omaha (2002 population
of 399,357) can operate on $80 million each year of tax collections,
compared to $200 million in Minneapolis (2002.) Makes one wonder.....
doesn't it?

Let's have a pork finding contest - the winner gets honored at the
Minneapolis Truth in Taxation hearing on December 8th. Here are the
Omaha financial statements (they know how to do it)......

tm Select Section A, Page 6 for tax collections.

Don't forget to mark your calendars - be at City Hall, Room 317 on
December 8th at 5:05 p.m. I'll have a big reward for the contest
winner.

P. S. - Omaha has SEVEN Wal-Mart SUPERCENTERS and a SAM'S CLUB!!!!!
