Paul, you want us to believe that there are a "great many people working
very hard to" bring affordable housing to Lynnhurst? And in the same post,
you say there has only been ONE opportunity in the past TEN years?!

Precisely how hard are the "many people" working? Who are they working
with? If Lynnhurst WANTS affordable housing, there are many, many
organizations that will jump high to help.

I have a hunch that we have different definitions of the phrase "affordable
housing." I know many "fortress neighborhoods" that WANT affordable
housing -- as long as it can be afforded by nurses, police and fire. Not by
the cashier at Wendys, the under employed or the government subsidized.

What part of the affordable housing market is Lynnhurst working hard to
obtain? 80% of MMI? 50% of MMI? 30% of MMI? Lower?

How about opening up a homeless shelter? There are many empty churches in
Lynnhurst (at night).

How about a home for the mentally ill?
