Is your street a snow emergency route?

If not, then is the "east" side of the street where the odd numbered
buildings are found?
ASSUMING "east" is the odd side as is most of south Minneapolis then your
neighbors were parked illegally as of 8AM this morning (Wednesday).
Tomorrow (Thursday) it will be illegal to park on the EVEN or "west" side of
the street from 8AM until 8PM or until the street has been plowed.

This info can be found at the official city snow emergency parking site:
http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/snow/parking-info.asp . If you are correct
and they were parked on the EVEN side of the street then the parking officer
was wrong and they can argue the tickets with the Violations Bureau
downtown.

Hope this helps.
