The Freedom Lecture Series debuts on Twin Cities
Public Television (TPT) Channel 17, Sunday, January 11 at
7:30pm. The first series features Dr. Mahmoud El-Kati and talks about
the Civil Rights Movement: Past, Present, and Future.
The Freedom Lecture Series is an effort with
TPT that aims to educate the broader community on issues of education, political
empowerment, racial profiling, environmental justice, health advocacy, economic
development, youth development and housing.
