Martin Olav Sabo Lecture Series: Rodney Slater
Washington, D.C. -- Congressman Martin Olav Sabo (DFL-Mpls.) is pleased to
welcome former Secretary of Transportation Rodney Slater as the featured
speaker at the Martin Olav Sabo Lecture Series.
The Sabo Lecture Series was created in 2002 by the State and Local Policy
Program at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the
University of Minnesota as a forum for distinguished individuals to address
the challenges of public service for our states and nation.
Slater, who served as Secretary of Transportation under President Bill
Clinton will discuss his career in public service, what he has learned, and
his advice for current and future public leaders.
