If you were able to sit down and have a candid conversation w/ RT, I suspect you'd find numerous issues that he feels very strongly about and would like to accomplish, but hasn't been able to garner the necessary support for. Who's fault is that?

If RT were indeed your "typical" DFL politician, he would have been out door knocking for the endorsed candidate last winter in North Minneapolis, instead of the people's eventual choice - Don Samuels.

If one understands anything at all about local politics, they would understand how politically suicidal it is to support a candidate running against a DFL endorsed candidate in Minneapolis. RT did, because he had the guts to admit it was what he believed was right. There were MANY DFL endorsed politicians that were called to and asked to do the same that didn't have the intestinal fortitude that RT showed.
