I wish Natalie Johnson Lee would consider running for Mayor. She has a great
deal of integrity, political savvy and back-bone.
I certainly know that she works tirelessly for her constituents, is willing
to listen, and to provide leadership (not Chamber of Commerce PR that has
become so common with our Mayors).
Any council person (and she was the only one) who would freeze for a few
hours at our campout in January of 2003, make a point of not wanting any
pictures or media of her being there, has my vote.
She also really listened to people who usually don't get that courtesy.
I am not looking for someone who is Mayor to agree with me all the time
--- I just would like a Mayor who would disagree with money and power a whole
lot more then Mayors past.
