The Anti War Committee and the Anti War Committee Education Fund are hosting a one day conference at the Humphrey Center. The conference will feature a dozen workshops on a variety of themes ranging from using art as resistance to exploring the U.S. role in Colombia and Latin America. This is going to be an exciting conference. And at $10 (which includes lunch) it's a steal!

STORM Against War at Home and Abroad ONE-DAY CONFERENCE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2004
10 am to 6 pm at the Humphrey Center West Bank Campus, Univ. of Minnesota 301 19th Avenue South, Minneapolis
A year ago, many of us participated in some of the most incredible protests of our lives: Thousands of people everytime. In Washington, DC, last January, many of us marched with half a million people. It was incredible to make common cause with so many of our neighbors.
A year later, the situation here has changed almost as dramatically as the situation in Iraq. So, what does the anti-war movement do now? Join us as we try to answer that question. And... re-focus our movement, build stronger connections between local activists, artists and organizations working for peace and justice, and explore creative new tactics for these new times.
