Good news for South Minneapolis! <http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/02-18-2004/0002112344&EDATE=>
"The Allina Hospitals & Clinics Board of Directors has chosen the Sears/Midtown Exchange located on Lake Street in South Minneapolis as the future headquarters for the state's largest nonprofit health care delivery system...The Allina Hospitals & Clinics corporate headquarters, called Allina Commons, will house around 1,000 employees and include an educational conference center. ... 'We will be part of the fabric of the community. Whether that be through supporting economic development or through community improvement initiatives, we want the community through our good deeds to know us and trust us as good neighbors.'" Other press releases also talk about a Sheraton hotel to be located in the old Sears complex to support the hospitals. This is a great step forward in providing jobs in our neighborhoods for our neighbors. Dave Jensen Central __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
