I think they should take file 2135 and put it away for a while. Maybe put it
away for good. The State should concentrate on it's spending, that means; lets
not plan on building any stadiums soon, and lets monitor; more carefully the
states own gaming operations.

I actually have real trouble with state sponsored gambling. Rather than the legislators working out a balanced budget and selling needed programs to the taxpayers, they want to gamble to raise state funds to pay for stadiums.


I think the way the state lottery is a good cautionary tale on this one. I'm disappointed that Rep. Keith Ellison is signed on to this one. Gambling is no way to run state government.

It will be interesting to see if the anti-gay Minnesota Family Council can get away from urging their crazed following to harrass Lesbians who want to adopt with Lutheran Social Services to focusing on this issue in the legislature. After all, I thought they opposed gambling.
