I am concerned about the impending metro wide transit strike. I was surprised to learn that the City of Mpls. would offer free parking to carpoolers, most likely suburbanites, (w/some conditions) in 5 Municipal ramps DT, during the strike.
It is good when stakeholders lend a hand. And, it is wise when City Leaders make efforts to help our City remain competitive. But, all the costs of owning these ramps continue, strike or no strike. Would it be unreasonable to ask our City Leaders to offer a discount-incentive to those that carpool; rather then just "giving it away"? Keith Reitman NearNorth REMINDERS: 1.
