I'm stepping in right away. This thread is obviously going to get out of control.
I do not assess the truth or lack thereof of posts. That's not in the rules, and becoming a fact-finder adds a lot of legal liability. But while it is not in our rules, PLEASE curb the temptation to rumor-monger and put stuff you don't know onto the list as fact. If you don't, it will dramatically weaken your credibility on issues where you wish to persuade. And if you're on the side that feels it's been slimed, PLEASE cleanse rumor with facts - and trust them to speak more powerfully than by adding potentially rules-violating insult.
