It just goes to show ya... the Star Tribune ran a front page story about a liberal radio talk show that isn't even carried on any Minnesota radio stations... they have a 6 station broadcast network, none in Minnesota... but the Strib ignores a new Minnesota-based radio talk show (based in Minneapolis) and carried on a 3 station network, locally produced and locally focused.
When I called the reporter to ask why the front page for an out-of-state story... but no mention for our local un-right-wing network radio show he said the other story had merit because it made the national press. Do you suppose the national host they reported on mentions the metro transit strike? High Ground Radio does every day. And we SUPPORT the Governor calling in mediators to force the Met Council to play fair. Do you imagine the national talk show cares about Minnesota's 130,000 jobless? We do! Reminds me of the former Gov's too-good-for the local media attitude... only the national media was worthy of his attention and he disparaged the local media. Here we have the local media totally ignoring a local radio talk show for a national talk show that has no local impact and no local listeners. Quel domage. Wendy Pareene So.
