Laura Sether's response about whether the Mayor will call for recognizing
and supporting gay marriage in Mpls did not answer my previous question.
She did however convolute the issue with her comment about Mpls giving
domestic partner benefits to couples.
Ms. Sether well knows that domestic partner benefits are not the same as a
legally sanctioned marriage (i.e. I am talking about the same type of
marriage as heterosexual married people).
Also, I asked for the Mayor's response.
I am very displeased with the Ms. Sether's trying to reshape the question
and the issue. She really needs to notice that the headlines are talking about
gay marriage, not about domestic partner benefits or civil unions.
