OK - I'll bite. It seems that Minneapolis provided a good example to follow
with how health care coverage for city employees is being paid for.

I'm willing to bet Mayor Rybak would be happy to allow members of his staff
to advise Met Council on how they might develop a similar package. But that
would require Met Council to actually want to reach a settlement. Their
actions to date suggest otherwise.

As for the offer to check out transit strike stories in other newspapers, I
did that, typing "transit" in the search functions. I also tried "strike"
but found that gave me too many mis-hits on war-related or Twins-related
stories.

I realize that's only a couple, but I don't know enough about other
