It's a shame we're attempting to extort Microsoft for millions of dollars. If it works..here is what happens.
Sullivan & Cromwell (Ney York) get a big win and millions of dollars. They cut Zelle Hoffman a big check (MN conduit to be able to sue in this state.) Richard Hagstrom, lead guy for local firm, Zelle et. al., gets a big bonus (I mean big) for a job well done and $$ for the firm. Hatch gets press to claim he is part of the fight for the little guy. Meanwhile, the few consumers that were attached to the claim get their $3.27 check as their retribution. Or, the court will divert a majority of that into some "consumer education" fund that will be run be more lawyers..for a fee of course. Remember the tobacco lawsuit; a few of those MN lawyers turned into multi millionaires overnight. Those that did not get "theirs" now smell $$ in Seatlle.
