Re: Ed's letter: The first thing we need to do is to EDUCATE the general
masses about WHY the bus drivers are getting S-C-R-E-W-E-D!! But how do we do
that?? I sat up last night for 2 hours trying to figure something out & couldn't.
Would you have to use anarchy (don't get me wrong. I'm a peaceful person
EXCEPT when I get upset about a cause. I marched down 5th Avenue in NYC back in
1969 to protest our involvement in the Vietnam War)?
If I need to stand in the middle of 35W to block vehicle access then I will.
I will probably be arrested but at my age what the heck (I'm 49)!
I've said this already & I'll say it again: get RIDERS out to demonstrate
with the drivers. Get RIDERS educated about the driver's health benefits. On the
unfortunate flip side, most people DON'T want to do anything as long as they
can get put in their 40 hours/week, get paid, & pay their bills. So back to
Ed's question: What are we going to do???
