Yes when I drove Ten years ago we didn't have any of the benefits. So as part time 
drivers a lot of us worked 50 to 60 hour weeks to pay for our own Health Insurance. 
Yes I drove School Bus as well as the Plymouth Metro Link and many charter hours. Also 
Regular city bus if needed.

I also made a decision not to Drive for MTC as I didn't want to put up with the 
clientele that they have to. I anyone wants a look at real stress just imagine 60 
Passengers and Two ANGRY ones. That take all that anger out on the DRIVER and you not 
being able to respond, accept to say yes sir/mam.

This is why their PAY is higher as it should be, than some of the other companies in 
the city. 

The Dairy workers had concesions on their Contract this year when it came to health 
insurance also. Since these are private companies the public didn't know how close 
they were to a strike. Instead they were able to keep working, and you all had milk. 
Their employer didn't lock them out like the Met council has the Bus drivers.
