Minneapolis City Counci Members Walk the Line...

Metro Buses Stay Quiet, But People Speaking Up
http://www.startribune.com/stories/362/4672848.html

Three Minneapolis City Council members walked the picket
line on Thursday March 18, 2004 with the ATU1005 drivers.
(Dan Niziolek is the only one mentioned in the article)

Also quoted in the article is Senator Linda Higgins (DFL Minneapolis)
who said:
(Peter Bell) "Get off your duff and get back to the bargaining table."

Another article in the Star Tribune, states that Minneapolis DFLers
Senator Scott Dibble and Representative Frank Hornstein are
going to "offer legislation" that would give $10 million in funding
to Metro Transit.

Charm Gilds the B.S. in the Starstruck Strib

Today the Strib's website had a huge feature article on Strom.

Transit advocates, don't be SO serious! Brush up on the jokes,
rachet up the charisma, and butter up the media and YOU TOO
can earn your 15 (hours?) of fame!

Ack! I'm not providing a link to that story.
