OK - so I saw this little bit in the Strib business section about City Center getting renovated.
Facelift begins at City Center (you have to scroll down a bit past the Waters Corporate Campus profile) http://www.startribune.com/stories/535/4674349.html It sounds like the developers are continuing the chain trend of Block E. I guess that's to get ready for all the empty-nesters from the burbs that are supposed to come downtown and buy up all those lofts and stuff.
