I know that sometimes this list begins to sound like a gripe session and people focus on the negative. I'm not trying to be a Pollyanna because I do know that there is bad stuff out there, and maybe it is the warmer weather or something, but I have been struck by how good the City looks now - even if this can be the ugliest time of the year.
We just got home after driving Franklin Avenue from Lyndale to the River - it sure is better than I have seen it in a long time. Nice street scape, new buildings, etc. Stopped at the Northern Clay Center to view an exhibition and had a wonderful in a crowded True Thai restaurant (about 26th and E. Franklin). I'm looking forward to other jaunts around Minneapolis. Let the negative be out there - I am going to look for the positive for a while. Jan Del Calzo Lynnhurst REMINDERS: 1.
