I'm hoping Part II will have more of the possibilities that the Hiawatha
Line will provide. I'm not an expert on transit, but it appears to me that
the Hiawatha Line has the potential to be one of the most successful mass
transit projects in the country if not the world. The geography and
demographics of the line are better than almost any twelve mile stretch of
track in North America outside of Manhattan.
Bell, Pawlenty and the others who can't see the possibilities are a very
big drag on our city's evolution.
The stupidity of this strike continues to astound me.

PS To Ms Heller: The users of mass transit are not children and P Bell and
T Pawlenty are very definitely not part of my children's lineage. P Bell
and T Pawlenty's positioning is immoral and irresponsible. Their job is to
serve the users of transit and make it better.
