Hello Everybody, I just have to say, that there is a new eatery in N.E. Minneapolis, Called "Mama Taught Me How To Cook" Soul food eatery. I was surprised by the taste, comfort and surroundings of the place. In fact the only thing missing was actually being down soul. My oh my! the "sweet tea" was great. I myself had the chittl'in dinner, my ol my, was it great! The proportions was "excellent."
For those that like other thing's, they have great bar-b-que and chicken wings, among other tasty items. They bring the South to Minneapolis, with their mouth watering sweet tea, yes, sweet tea. It's just "GREAT," just like being in the Dirty South. (No diss to the South, just sling) In fact the only thing missing was the South. Service was quick and service was good. They cater and the good thing, they are northeast on Lowery and Stintson. Phone Ph# 612-781-3280. I travel from Family Children's Service on 41st and East Lake for lunch every day to the Sol food eatery...... This is the best thing, in a long time, but please, don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Vanessa Freeman Hawthorne REMINDERS: 1. Think a member has violated the rules?
