In recent months, the Minneapolis Board of Education has considered
plans to close and reorganize district schools. Recognizing the
importance of community support, the Board has decided to step back from
the original plan and to engage the community in discussions about our
shared values for the future of Minneapolis Public Schools. The process
for community engagement is currently being designed. More information
on this process will soon be made available. Meanwhile, we invite you to
