Empowerment Zone Meeting Monday April 19, 2004 at 1:00pm at the Minneapolis Urban League. This is a very important meeting members of the community will meet with the Director of the Minneapolis Empowerment Zone, Governance Board members and various other city officials and discuss a way to rectify the current situation regarding the snubbing of African Americans by the Empowerment Zone. It is important that you attend this meeting. There has been a lot of rhetoric going around and this will be the day that all the rhetoric is laid to rest. Please attend.
