If you want to speak at the 6:15pm public comment period, you need to call Diane Hill at 230-6404 before 4pm on Wednesday so that she can add your name to the meeting agenda.
Finding and getting to the MPRB building is easy. It's just north of the Broadway and West River Road intersection, and just north of the iconic Broadway Pizza, along the river north of downtown. The building has plenty of free parking for automobile drivers, and 2 bus lines pass right by the building, the #20 and #32.

* Brackett Park renovation bid
* Approval of hiring athletic officials
* Approval of NRP funding agreement for $375,000 for Lake of the Isles restoration
* Parking fees
* Revised expenditures and revenues (spending $42 million instead of $40 million)
* New ordinance amending the ordinance relating to conduct
* Co-sponsorship of the Minneapolis Parks Legacy Society public celebration of the installation of the statues at Wirth park, the Wirth-While Weekend.
* Approve some interesting accounting transfers from the 3 different AP funds to pay for the Armatage Park athletic field improvements of $72,000.
* Approve Mississippi Watershed Capital Improvement Program of $2.965 million to improve "water quality" and recreation facilities at the Park Board Headquarters, East River Flats, Father Hennepin Bluffs, Miss. River Gorge, and Edgewater Park.
* Armatage Park athletic fields improvement for $498,630.
* Lake of the Isles phase III-a rehab for $407,888.95 (and not a penny less!)
* Requesting the City Council and Board of Estimation and Taxation sell debt and assessment bonds to pay for the Park Board's capital improvement program.
* Skate parks discussion.
* Reopened beaches discussion.
