And it could not be more obvious that the rogue 5 (Olson et al) on the
board don't want us to have any information, pay any attention, or notice
when parks are commercialized, downgraded, rented, sold off, etc, to big
developers and corporations.

It's because we sense this betrayal of public trust that we're so
attentive - if we snooze, we lose.

Imagine, just imagine, a Park Board more dedicated to stewardship and
improvement of parks. To openness, fairness, candor. The sort of board we
deserve.

We will have a chance, a duty, to do this next election. Meanwhile,
eternal vigilance is the price of the park system.
