Council Member Schiff Hosts School Board Candidate Forum All Announced Candidates Invited To Speak and Answer Questions At Constituent Breakfast
Minneapolis City Council Member Gary Schiff will host a forum for announced Minneapolis School Board Candidates on Friday, April 30, 2004. The forum will take place at Council Member Schiff's monthly constituent meeting Breakfast with Gary. "This is an exciting opportunity for constituents to hear from the candidates and ask questions of them," Council Member Schiff said. "With all of the challenges facing the Minneapolis Public Schools, I believe that it is extremely important for citizens to have the opportunity to hear from potential School Board members." Breakfast with Gary will provide candidates an opportunity for candidates to discuss their motives for running and answer questions from potential voters. Announced candidates of all party affiliations were invited. The Minneapolis DFL City endorsing convention is May 15th at the Historic Orpheum Theater. Held the final Friday of the month (January through October) at the Caf� of the Americas (3019 Minnehaha Avenue South), the Breakfast features people and issues that affect the 9th Ward and the City of Minneapolis.
