I find eyes glaze over when you say "TIF" - and more when you explain
it as "Tax Increment Financing", and even more when you try to explain it.

Yet millions of our tax dollars are palmed out of public schools and
libraries into the Brooks Brothers pockets of mega developers and
oversized corporations.

The fact that eyes glaze is a main reason the elite can continue to rob us
- too hard to follow the hand thru all the smoke and mirrors. The elite
love it like this.

So I propose a modest change in the name, to make it clear to all what is
going down:

     Tax Increment Tactic (TIT)

Sears et al really line up at the public TIT. When they're done, the
public mother is dry. Schools and libraries become runts. The first in
line become 500-lb gorillas. We help finance our own inequality and
destruction. But now we at least have a revealing term for the process.

And Tactic it is - forget business, forget serving the public with some
product or service - one is in the game of getting tax breaks. It doesn't
matter for what. It's all and only about fleecing the public to finance a
bloated lifestyle.
