Right, I should have reviewed the table presented to get the answer. The
answer is that at all along the continuum of age cohorts, non-smokers outlive
smokers... at a presumably lower cost to the health care system and presenting the
opportunity to continue providing society the benefit of good health and the
corresponding benefit (positive or negative, depending upon your political philosophy)
to have themselves continuing to be taxed silly.
