After what has felt like a water-logged eternity, I got some great springtime news earlier this evening when stopping by my favorite co-op for the weekly groceries.
Posted on the main entrance were fliers announcing that the Eastside Food Co-op will again sponsor the Northeast Farmers Market in the parking lot of St. Boniface Catholic Church, at the intersection of University and 7th Avenue NE, across from Emily's Lebanese Deli. The market season begins on Saturday, June 5th and runs through October. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. http://www.eastsidefoodcoop.org/farmersmarket.htm Can't wait to see what the early harvests will bring! Mark Snyder Windom Park REMINDERS: 1.
