Me: The police have gone above and beyond the call of duty for my family and our block. I do not believe there is anything more they could be doing to help us right now. I mean the communication with us and the service has been absolutely exemplary. The due diligence the police go through to accumulate the information and evidence they need to do something is lengthy and frustrating for both the police and those of us who have to wait. But, it is reasonable and necessary due diligence in order for any charges to hold up in court.
