So all you smoking anti-government and anti-tax zealots can stay eating and smoking in Minneapolis for a few more weeks. After a few months, you'll have to find another state in which to smoke and eat in the same place - other than your yellowing houses, of course. (Took me a month to clean the yellow-brown coating from my mother's walls and windows before she died of emphysema 16 years ago. That brown is what is coating the lungs of those who are forced to inhale smoke they never asked for.)
And speaking of yellowing - and root canals - ever noticed the teeth and gums of a long time smoker compared with others. Smoking contributes severely to periodontal diseases - and you can smell them from several feet away in most cases. So, feel free to flee this boring state, but keep running, because in every state in the union smoking is going the way of the dodo bird. Andy Driscoll Saint Paul -- REMINDERS: 1.
