RE: [Mpls] Steve McClelland out at First Avenue

This is a true loss for the music community. When my husband (Dave Ray) 
died, shortly before a scheduled appearance at First Ave., Steve and staff 
couldn't have been more responsive and sensitive in helping to turn the 
scheduled Koerner, Ray and Glover concert into a beautiful and meaingful 
tribute to Dave. They were trully supportive and wonderful to me.  It is 
hard for me to think of First Ave without Steve. I hope he doesn't move to 
Haiti - that would really be a loss for the community.

Also, how is this going to impact staffing at the bar? Will Conrad and the 
rest of the long-term staff be staying or going? I think a full scale staff 
change could spell disaster for the club and that would also be a big loss 
for the city.
