[Mpls] Population: Minneapolis Loses a Great One.

	Early this morning my good friend Laurie Dow, musician and Stevens 
Court resident for decades, lost her battle with cancer. Laurie came to 
Minneapolis from the more stifling attitudes of Edina in the early 
1970s and was active in the antiwar and gay rights movements. She was 
an accomplished musician and played with her room mate Larry Havluck, 
"Cornbread" Harris, the Bluegills, and numerous other local musicians.

        Funeral arrangements are pending.
