Wizard said: "Barb, being American born and bred, thinks it inappropriate to put housing over industrial."
Me: While I may be born and bred in America, I have lived in India, Toronto, Winnipeg, San Francisco and Denver. I do not recall seeing housing on top of industrial in any of those cities. I have travelled to England, Germany, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Mexico, the Bahamas and nearly 40 of the United States. I have not seen housing on top of industrial in any of those places. All that aside, Wizards assertion that Basim Sabri might not find housing on top of industrial a bad mix means nothing to me. Basim lives in Shorewood. He doesn't live near Karmel Square, the manufactuing plant he wants to build or the housing he wants to put on top of it. He doesn't have to live with the traffic problems, parking issues or any of the other livability issues the heavy congestion in that area is causing.
