If the GOP candidate is so concerned about losing a flyer, then perhaps there are bigger problems for the GOP than you let on. Lastly, Mr. list serve cop, now that the DFL, Greens and GOP have had an opportunity to lob grenades at each other, perhaps we should discuss a return to issue debate.
Peter Schmitz: "Opposition research"? Puh-leeeeeeze! Jeremy, a true friend of Representative Kahn's, rather than rationalizing and excusing jejune and illegal behaviors, would gently confront her on her tactics and assist her in considering "replacement behaviors" (a counseling strategy that's often effective when working with criminals). As for stumping, if it's any consolation to you, Jeremy, I do not consider myself a member of any party. It goes against my existential temperament. (Although I foolishly registered as a democrat late last summer so I could vote for Kucinich in the local caucauses, which turned out to be a collosal waste of my time). I simply wanted to point out that there was more than one alternative to candidate Kahn for those living in her district. However, I agree that Phyllis has made many valuable contributions to the city of Minneapolis as well as the state of Minnesota. It's just too darn bad that she's become more desperate as her party continues to squander its political and moral capital.
