Community schools and community libraries should be saved at all cost but 
unfortunately the policymakers seem to be bent on destruction unless it has a ball.  I 
do not know anything about the school other than what I just read but...would it be 
possible to put a DayCare center in the school along with the K-5 program.  Really 
good daycare is very hard to find and it seems like Pratt would be ideal for it with 
playground and learning material. There's a large business area to draw from along 
University ...including the UofM. I believe there is a program to train immigrants on 
how to operate daycares that could be incorporated.  Perhaps for this training, grant 
monies and city monies could be acquired. Would they close you down if a steady flow 
of money was coming in?
