Included in the sale will be Dave�s guitars, amps and other sound equipment along with many of his personal effects including clothing, hats, books, knickknacks, curios, red socks, and miscellaneous household items. Some posters, CD�s and vinyl will also be available.
His guitars and many other items will be offered through a silent auction. A list of these items and minimum acceptable bid will be available online one week before the sale at www.thecedar.org. Bids will be accepted until 6:00 PM Sunday, August 1st. Bids can be directed by mail to MJ Mueller, PO Box 14770, Minneapolis, MN 55414 or by e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] If bidding by e-mail, please put Dave Ray Bid in the subject line (failure to do so will result in an ignored bid). Bids will also be accepted at the Cedar on the dates of the sale.
(Dave was a consummate packrat. He was a very neat packrat, so until I started sifting through it, I was unaware of the volume of stuff he had packed away over the 21 years we spent together. It has taken me more than a year and a half since Dave�s passing to sort through our attic and his studio [and I have yet to deal with the basement.])
