The filing deadline has passed (July 22nd, I think).  All state and US House 
seats are up for election, there are 3 seats on the Mpls school board, then 
a smattering of county commissioners, judicial posts, soil and water 
conservation boards and maybe a couple I've forgotten.  There is a link to 
the candidate filings on the Secretary of State's website.  Hope this helps.
