First I would like to thank the city Council members Dean Zimmerman and
Gary Schiff for their concern of the citizens of this beautiful city of lakes
Minneapolis.

I also like to thank my fellow Whittier neighborhood board members ,
residents, My fellow Somali Business Owners at Karmell, my customers and
everyone else who has got involved about the case between Sabri and me
without political motivation or any other interest.

My Special thanks goes to the Minnesota Somali Chamber of Commerce who
entirely tried to their best to ease the tension and act as mediator for
the two parts in tough time and did what their organization has been
established,Mr. Abdul former employer of Sabri, Sister of Sabri, and Mr.
Graham about his genuine information and referrals.

It is obviously true that I have contacted Mr. Graham, after Mr Jama gave
me his number and he referred to me a very good young and intellectual
lawyer. I also really appreciated about his referral to captain Krist
Arneson because I believe that if a finger print would had been taken for
the day of the theft the issue would have been resolved in a matter of
short period, but the police didn't give enough attention to this issue.
Yesterday Captain Krist told me that from now on most of the police
officers are trained for a finger print and they should take it if needed.

I would like to clarify that Mr. Sabri and I do not differ about our
opinions on the Elroy project for housing and We finally agreed about the
aspects of the project including the need for more parking. However, there
were misunderstandings between Mr. Sabri and me. We have since resolved
those differences and understood each other after we talked, which was
apparently by the time Mr. Graham's email came out or just before .

I am obviously an advocate for the Somalis Businesses and care about our
well-being of fellow citizens. And honestly I have known Mr. Sabri for
over 5 years that I have been his tenant, I have learned a lot from him
and I know that he is a big supporter of Somalis.

As Somali Business owners, We welcome any Support, assistance, and
advice, and honor and appreciate those who support us but we do not want to
be used as a political tool or support objectives of any group or individual.

City of Minneapolis is better of to have people who understand diversity
and different cultures such as Jim Graham even though I wish he would
consulted me before he posted the issue in the Forum.

For point of clarification I have read what was posted in the Forum by
some one claiming that he is my uncle by the name Abdul, To my surprise I
don't know that I have an uncle that I am not aware of him.

For one thing Minneapolis is my home city and I intend to have a good
future. It is one of the few places in America I could feel home, have
high school, college classmates and teachers, back home Neighborhood friends
and sports team mates. from now on, I hope that whoever wants to talk
about this issue ,have the right to express their own viewpoints not mine.

Respectfully,

Abdulkadir Hashi
Board member of Whittier Neiborhood, Small Business Owner At karmell mall,
and Residence at ward 12
