Greeting's List! It's not a surprise when I saw that Don organized a bus tour through crime ridden areas of our neighborhoods. I must admit when I first heard about Don, I did not know where and on what ground he stood. So, I talked about this persons character to a point that was embarrassing to myself and family. I have come to know Don much better, and he has shown a compassion unlike that I have ever seen. A compassion that has and was truly lacking in our government.
I can say thanks to a man who "REALLY" cares, and demonstrates this in each and every way. For so long our beautiful but troubled neighborhood has been neglected by those who said they cared for us, or spoke for us, and now through Don, this is what is happening. I for one appreciate the well needed advocacy that he has given on our behalf. (Jordan residents, you really have a jewel) Thanks Don for being the true leader and offering true leadership to our communities. May you continue to always do what is best for all of us that you represent. To those council members who were not in attendance on that bus, may I say you truly missed a great way to see and experience first hand, our day to day struggle with the bad and the dangerous forces that have negative impacts in our communities. Don't forget, you are in office as a foot solider and these are the same people who put you into office; and when election day rolls around, and it will, don't be upset when those same people don't come to you when "YOU" need them.
