Part of this event will be a sale of art work by local artist. Below is the "call for artist" that want to participate. Artist all kinds are encouraged to submit. See the contact information at the bottom of this email. Support the Peace Foundation, make and sell some art and have a good time doing it in lovely lower NE MPLS! More than 500 qualified buyers will attend this event. You will receive two free passes, listing in the exhibition checklist, potential press and 50% of the Òfull retail valueÓ of your work. Make new contacts, sell your work, support the peace foundation, have fun. This event will be Saturday September 18, from 6:00 pm to midnight at the grain belt bottling house, 13th Avenue, just west of Marshall Street NE. We are interested in works that address peace, urban life and/or diversity in all media. Outsider art, fine crafts, ethnic arts are encouraged to apply. We want to make some sales for you and the peace foundation. How to get in the show? 1. Mail or deliver one slide or photo of a typical work you might like to present. 2. Put your name on the image. 3. Include a typed page with the following information. ¥ Your professional name ¥ Your legal name and social security number. ¥ Your mailing address. ¥ Your phone number, best time to call am/pm ¥ Your email 4. Approximate number of works you want to show 5. Average size & media of works 6. Average Full value, includes 50% commission of the works to be offered. Important: We will not be able to return your images so do not deliver originals. We need the images in our hands by 5:00 pm, Tuesday September 7th. Deliver or mail to the California Building Gallery, 2205 California Street NE #103, Minneapolis, MN 55418. We will call you to work out details of your submission on Thursday September 9th.
