Here's what I have decided that would be a great idea-Just like the
"Mapqwest" site where you go in and punch in your address; and it tells
you directions. Why could the Hiawatha Light Rail not have a similar
deal? You go in to their site; push in your address, your destination
and lets say for fun it's a Vikings game; and it tells you exactly what
buses to take, where to transfer, once or twice; and which LRT station
it will take you to and how long the whole process will take you?? Maybe
it be called the Hiawatha "Easy-rider"? I think it might work!! I just
think it could be a "user-friendly tool" for those that are
bus-inhibited.

Please see http://www.metrocouncil.org/transit/tripplanner.htm. :)

I love this tool! Use it all the time. It even lets you type in
landmarks. I do think Metro Transit needs to advertise it more.
I've found a few glitches now and then where a non-ideal route
is prepared but I suppose that's to be expected in a new tool.
