Randall Cutting responded to my post by suggesting that I may have misinterpreted his post because I live in Saint Paul.
Maybe I did, but not because I live in Saint Paul. He wrote "In Minneapolis, only 73% of workers drive to work." I stated that the census figures were for [Minneapolis residents who work, wherever they work], and noted (paraphrased) that the 73% would not be the figure for [the number of people who work in Minneapolis that commute by car]. In Minneapolis could be interpreted to mean [the people who live within the city limits and work within the city limits], but I guess not. I didn't notice Jim Bernstein's original phrasing about Minneapolis residents, So my interpretation was indeed incorrect.
