retrieved a bindle of drugs from the base of a tree
and headed up the street with his ho' mees."

This a ridiculous statement to make on a public list.
By "ho-mees" are you suggesting that this man was
black? and therefore you are assuming the "bindle" he
had contained drugs?

Assuming people walking down the street are dealing
drugs is not really working constructively to solve
the very real problems that are out there.  In fact I
think it is adding to the paranoia and fear that is
stopping us from coming together.
