..at Como Park in St. Paul. My neighbor, Russ Erickson, was impressed
with the many offers and suggestions from List members that I was able
to forward to him after he suddenly discovered that he had about a week
to find a new home for his steel-rod sculpture titled "Family." It was
losing its home at the FDA building in downtown Minneapolis, due to
redevelopment, after sitting there for close to 25 years. The sculpture
is now next to Seal Island at the Como Zoo and Conservatory. Russ
reports that the plan by park staff is to move it to a permanent home in
front of the Conservatory next year.
