The Seward Archive Project : Saving our Neighborhood's Stories

Do you remember the streetcars? The years when heavy machinery was built
at Minneapolis Moline? A time when places like Monroe School, Ronning's
Sports Shop, Ross Drug Store, Shapiro's Dry Cleaning, the Tempo Bar were all a
part of life along Franklin Avenue? These are just a few of the places that will
come up for discussion at the next Seward Archive Project Reminiscence
Evening. A number of people who remember Franklin Avenue before urban renewal have
agreed to come and share their recollections and answer questions. Please join
us for a chance to share our neighborhood's history.
                                    Friday, September 24th - 7 P.M.
Seward Montessori School (24th St. and
28th Ave.)
