The U.S. Housing and Urban Development's web site has detailed info. on the "Fair Housing Act", also known as the Civil Rights Act of 1968. It prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status and disability. I hope the Mayor and his attorney's have read the entire act before approving special financing for special people.
