This is why it is necessary to vote in the primaries. A small group of
people decide who the candidates are going to be. This is why I do not want
the DFL to endorse another candidate.
Personally, I want all boards to have more representation than one party.
Once a party gets the strong hold...there really is not true representation
for the people. We then have an agenda...a political agenda.
A little off the track from the school board, is what is happening out
at the airport with the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Northwest spent
time in Washington courting the President. After that visit, the Governor
decided that Northwest was more important than South Minneapolis and Tigwell
of MAC, along with a large percentage of appointed commissioners, have
become Charlie McCarthy puppets for the Governor. This is politics, this is
party line...this has nothing to do with being fair, doing what is right for
the people, or standing behind a committment made in 1997. Northwest has an
insatiable appetite and Minnesota leaders have just kept feeding it and
feeding it. They will now take the $4.50 from each of the 33 million
travelers, ( that should be used for sound insulation and can also be used
for gate improvements ) and give it to Northwest in a round about
way.....corporate welfare at its very best. For sure our politicians took
math in school..I don't know if ethics was an elective or not!

Dorie Rae Gallagher/Nokomis...... not in the insulation zone with planes
flying over each and every day with more to come according to the article.
